The Smolensk state university of sports team is the winner of the All-Russian Judo Championship for Students

On March 27–28, Smolensk hosted the All-Russian Judo Championship for Students, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the first human spaceflight, as part of the "Do You Know What Kind of Guy He Was" project.

The team of the Smolensk State University of Sports performed confidently at home, winning 14 medals and taking 1st place in the team competition.

The team has 8 gold, 1 silver, and 5 bronze medals.
