Strength of spirit and loyalty to traditions!

On May 6, 2026, students of the Smolensk State University of Sports changed their training uniforms for ceremonial ones to take part in important and significant events.

The "St. George Ribbon" campaign: we shared the symbols of Victory. Each ribbon is a sign of our gratitude and remembrance of the courage of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers.

The flower laying ceremony: Together with the University and Olympic Reserve School senior officials, we laid flowers at the graves of World War II veterans and the mass grave. This is an important moment of unity, when our entire university, from first-year students to the rector, stands together to pay tribute to our heroes.

Sports teach us discipline and respect, and our country's history teaches us to be strong and united.
