International academic mobility events

With the active support of Igor Alekseevich Dyachuk, Acting Rector of the Smolensk State University of Sports, the University is actively implementing international academic mobility activities. In October 2025, the University employees (Dr. Fedor Borisovich Litvin, Professor, and Dr. Olesya Gennadievna Kirsanova, Associate Professor) were sent to Vitebsk to deliver a series of lectures to students at Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov.

Smolensk State University of Sports actively cooperates with the Belarusian State University of Physical Education (Minsk), and on February 25, 2026, a lecture by Elena Pavlovna Pisarenkova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Head of the Department of Athletics at the Smolensk State University of Sports, was organized with the organizational support of the Department of International Relations at the Smolensk State University of Sports. The topic of the lecture was "Athletics as a Subject of Professional and Pedagogical Activity."

The event was held in a remote format with the participation of students and fellow teachers from the Belarusian State University of Physical Education. This format, aimed at expanding communication and strengthening scientific ties, has become another traditional form of professional interaction between our universities.
